500 – Samuel Logan

My memorial stone was a granite heart-shaped one. It is the maximum sized one of those that they sell. It is very thick and has a smooth black face. It is a human grade gravestone, IMO.

It was put over the cremains of my beloved dog, Valens, a four year old chihuahua. He was put in one of the finest emergency animal hospitals in the DFW Texas area within one day from when he first showed symptoms of severe lethargy. Less than a day had gone by before he was hospitalized at BluePearl in Mesquite TX. He showed this symptom very suddenly – no warning beyond this.

He only went out for some exercise and to pee and poop in our large enclosed backyard. He never went on walks as I am disabled. He died from the bacteria Leptospirosis entering his body through infected water that he drank. Please, PLEASE, get your cat and dog vaccinated for this.

My prayers for him went unanswered/done by God. He chose the lives – well-being of bacteria OVER my dog’s. He couldn’t see the GOOD in doing a SMALL thing, an easy “miracle.” I curse His name and will never forgive Him for this. I have absolutely had it with Him. This was the last straw after trusting him for over fifty years.
